Molecular Breeding Training Program

Inaugural Intensive Training Course in Collaboration with NEPAD’s Biosciences Eastern and Central Africa (BECA): 28 November – 18 December 2004, BECA, ILRI, Nairobi, Kenya

Prof James Ochanda, The Coordinator of the Biosciences, Eastern & Central Africa, hereby extends an invitation to AMMANET members to attend an intensive Training Program in Molecular Breeding to be held at the NEPAD Biosciences Facility, ILRI, Nairobi, Kenya, in November 2004. You may nominate someone in your lab as well for this course. Limited opportunities are available and quick response from those interested will be highly appreciated.
 
The three broad goals for the training program are to:
 1) Provide advanced training to current users in the region
2) Establish functional relationships for technical backstopping and trouble shooting
3) Empower practitioners in the region to make the best use of the biosciences hub
